El Feija national park is located in north-western Tunisia, west of Jendouba and only a few km away from the Algerian border.
El Feija was originally set up to preserve the native Barbary deer found here. Thus, the park has been designated as a closed zone, offering full protection to these fascinating animals. This attraction is also home to many other animals, including wild cats, mongooses and jackals, as well as countless species of reptiles. It has 2600 ha of oak forests, with wildlife including Barbary deers, gazelle, wild boar and jackals.
